back in the states

it's been a good month since i've been back in texas and every now and then i really miss london. it especially hits me when the weather's cool or there's a nice breeze. it's amazing how much weather, smell and sound can really take you back to a place.

there were a few things i didn't post about during my time in london, so expect a few more posts before i close the chapter on "london summer 08."

cheers, my dears.

Hreshdagayeen- Angelic

Here's a clip of "Hreshdagayeen" (Angelic) sung by the St. Yeghiche Choir in the Gomidasian style. I really loved their version and looked forward to it every week. Hope you enjoy it, too.

(and my, "I feel really bad doing this in church" is in reference to recording, jarbeeg ones)

lone ranger

say hello to the only pigeon left in trafalgar square

one double deck to the chin and you're gone

you can FEEL the tension between these two bus companies.

i once asked some someone how much tours cost, and immediately had staffers from each company attack me (and each other) with pamphlets

goal!

you know that drew carey episode where kate feeds drew french fries from a variety of different fast food chains and he knows exactly which one comes from where?

i can do that with chocolate now.

On days other than Easter and Christmas

this is st. george's tavern, my neighborhood pub.

wouldn't it be cool if our church, st. kevork (st. george in english), was just as packed?

too much national geographic

molton brown sells luxury beauty and bath products, but it just makes me think of a shedding prime minister.

that cannot be good for business.
