whatever happened to

protest, the way it used to be?

i met up with an old friend of my father yesterday. he moved to london at seventeen for studies, and told me stories about the time he and thousands of other university students took over the streets and universities of london to protest the vietnam war.

take a look at lse back in the day, a hot spot for all sorts of protests and social movements.
i know there are lots of ways to make a statement or create change, but God knows the crimes happening now are just as horrendous as the crimes that happened decades ago- and demand just as much passion and outrage as they did in the '60s and '70s.

so, what happened?
